This work is a historical representation, depicting what appears to be a sun, surrounded by two women and what could be birds.
Suns or wheels?
Many circular shapes populate the stone slabs of Tanum. They are sometimes found surrounded by what appear to be birds.
The sun played an essential role in the lives of the people of the Bronze Age.
It would therefore not be surprising if the sun were deified and the discs represented the solar star.
Other discs have crosses in the middle. They could also be wheels.
After all, the wheel in the Bronze Age played a vital role while the chariot was a symbol of power.
